The wine is made in Qvevri by the Kakhuri traditional method, from grapes of the Kisi variety grown in the village of Kurdgelauri, Telavi region. The wine is amber in color. The aromas of pink pear, roasted quince, and dried apricots are pronounced. Notes of oriental spices also pronounced. Wine is full body with rounded tannins and a medium finish.
The wine has the potential to age and develop in the bottle for several years. It will be good to combine it with meat dishes accompanied by intense sauces. Also with grilled vegetables.
