Kakhuri wine is made from the Kakhuri green variety in qvevri according to traditional Kakhuri method, produced in limited quantity, 1,900 bottles in total. The label depicts the Chotiashvili cellar.
The wine has an amber color. It has a full body, characteristic tannins, and dried apricot tones. Characterized by fruity and herbal aromas. Tones of dried apricots and persimmons, dried wildflowers, pine tree resin, and oriental spices are expressed.
The wine is already 6 years old, so its aging potential is already well expressed, although it still has a few more years to go. Goes well with roasted duck or turkey meat accompanied by a sweet sauce, as well as grated cheese with honey and onion jam.
